Our Boys
Gambit
Gambit Jareth is a stunning Hairless male with incredible lines, a smooth gait, great bite, and a super cool hair do! His skin is slate gray, but his hair is white & blonde with frosted black tips. I've never seen a Crestie with hair like Gambit's! He's a total cuddle-bug and LOVES to play fetch. He'll chase any toy you throw but seems to really love our stuffed toys the most. Gambit is new to us as of 2009, but we're expecting big things from this handsome little man. Left photo is courtesy Jody Brown. Right photo is Gambit and I after a LONG trip home from the airport.
Lucan
Lucan, my sweet, gentle, loving little boy. Lucan was my first Crestie, my teacher, my companion. He came to me during a very difficult time in my life, and he helped guide me through it unscathed. While he wasn't a "perfect" Crestie according to the AKC standard, he was as perfect as a dog could ever be. Lucan gave us some beautiful puppies, many of which had the ultra-rare and often sought-after blue eyes! Sadly, there will be no more blue-eyed babies from AlmostnakedPups since Lucan has since retired. My little man is sorely missed, but he's living it up as a retired and pampered pooch with a dear friend of mine and one of his blue-eyed daughters. We love you, Lucan!
Vinni
Vinni was a kind of rescue, though he was purebred from Champion lines AND a Champion himself. We jumped at the chance to have a Champion stud in our home even if he was already 3 years old and went for the hefty sum of $4,000! Unfortunately, when Vinni arrived he was frightened of almost everything and everyone. Even though he was mistreated and neglected by a previous handler and had very poor socialization, after a year with us in a loving, no-pressure HOME environment he was much more confident and pranced around with the other dogs without much fuss. Vinni was with us for a short time for rehabilitation, fathered a couple amazing litters, and has now moved on to a VERY happy home with a show friend of mine. We miss his sweet kisses, but we hear he's doing well!

Our Girls
Lilly
Lilly (La-La, Pinners, Sausage) is a Hairy hairless, right on that verge of True Hairless. Lilly is a beautiful example of a Crestie with graceful movement, supple soft skin, bright eyes, and great lines. She is my "Blanket Buddy" and will drop EVERYTHING and come running if I so much as touch a blanket in her presence. She is our Alpha Female without a doubt. Lilly is a wonderful mother to all babies: she often adopts the pups from the other Mamas when they've had enough! Lilly loves the water and can't get enough of chasing spray from the hose (even in the winter!) She also LOVES the heating vent in the kitchen and is fond of ice (we give her giant chunks to play with in the summer!) Lilly is courageous, assertive, intelligent, & inquisitive all while being loving and cuddly.
Abbie
Abbie (Abbly-Babbly-Boo, Babble) is a Powderpuff Chinese Crested with a wonderful silver and blue shimmer. She's got an amazing coat, soulful dark eyes, and a perfect bite. Abbie has so many human-like traits it's hard to believe she's really a dog! She scratches her own tummy with a front paw, walks on her hind legs for long distances, reaches out to hold your hand (or to touch your leg if you walk by without saying hi!) and she even "laughs" if you tickle her! Abbie came to us a little later in life, but she's so easy-going she fit right in with no problems. We Keep her coat short most of the time, but that doesn't detract from her beauty. In fact, keeping her trimmed short emphasises her great lines as well as shows off that velvety texture Cresties get when clipped short! Abbie has a soft, quiet, and subdued nature which she passes on to most of her puppies.
Imogen
Imogen (Jenners, Jen-Jen, Stalker) is a spunky, peppy, intelligent girl with a fondness for energetic playtime and bordeline obsession with my very own Sweetie Pie, Born. Imogen shows off her pearly whites as she "smiles", especially when she's in trouble-- she knows it makes us melt into quivering puddles of laughter. Though she is most often found running, jumping, and playing, she is also one of the cuddly-puppins, preferring to snuggle with Born, but any lap will do if he's not around. I wasn't even looking for another Crestie when I happened across her picture at 10 weeks old, but I just HAD to have this little pink pup with those delicious chocolate spots!
Isis
Isis is the first female True Hairless Chinese Crested ever born at AlmostNakedPups, so it's no wonder we kept her! She is a gem to be sure. She's full of cuddles, wiggles, and energy as all puppies should be. Obviously, since she was born in 2009 Isis isn't a Mommy yet, but we're hopeful she'll continue to show signs of perfection as she grows so we can add her to our list of healthy, happy, beautiful Mamas! Isis was born to our sweet Abbie, the Puff, but raised mostly by my pride and joy, Lilly. Why the Mommy switch? Simple, I wanted Isis to be "next in line" for ruling the roost once Lilly steps down. By allowing Lilly to raise Isis we were able to impart Lilly's courage, assertiveness, and many other personality traits onto Isis. So far, so good! Isis has a close relationship with both Abbie and Lilly, and gets along perfectly with everyone she meets, furred, finned, feathered, or otherwise.
